Retirement ceremony for Walter Pötz (Image: Uni Graz/Thomas Weiss)
The event was opened by a laudatory speech from Ulrich Hohenester, followed by a short welcoming speech from Dean Karl Lohner. The ceremony continued with short lectures by three former scientific members of the University of Graz, Benjamin Stickler (Univ. Duisburg-Essen), Jaroslav Fabian (Univ. Regensburg), and Claudia Draxl (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), and was finished with a buffet in the courtyard.
